Open to emerging and professional digital artists based in Jamaica

Must reflect the assigned theme
Must be original and created during the live event
Use of AI tools or pre-existing assets is strictly prohibited

Conduct & Submission

Artists must maintain professionalism throughout
Final pieces projected on-screen for judging

The Rounds

On day 1, Saturday August 9, 2025, attendees can visit the VTDI Booth and sign up for the digital art battle by drawing and colouring their favourite Anime character for 10 minutes on the Wacom Drawing Cintiq tablets provided. At the end of the day VTDI officials will review the entries and select 6 finalists, who will battle it out on stage on day 2 for the grand prizes.

On day 2, each of the six finalists will be welcomed on stage to draw an original anime character based on a character profile/description.

Each participant will have 10 minutes to draw and colour their characters, in front of the live audience. After the 6 semifinalists are completed their drawings. The audience will choose 3 finalists based on the entries.

The 3 finalists will then battle it out by drawing an illustration based on a theme, and the audience will choose the first, second and third place winner. The winners will walk away with the prizes above and bragging rights!
